Hi, I’m Lauren Bryant from Empower House, an interational multi award-winning small business specialist, helping you have your best business ever through strategy, systems & education made simple! With over 15 years in small business management, I set out to deliver practical, comprehensive, & affordable business education and training, and regular networking events to the everyday small business owner. With experience in hands on set up, training, & integration for new and updated business systems, including websites, business management, accounting, & marketing systems; assisting start-up to established businesses set strong foundations & grow exponentially. Through education, empowerment and support, Empower House assists small business owners to become financially independent, build the business of their dreams, develop confidence, make new connections, & have the freedom to live their lives by design.

 

Founded in 2016, with a passion for small business & community, I started Empower House with a vision to support local & national charities, including local women’s refuges, mental health services, homeless community support, and many more. Thanks to the support of other local business people & event guests, Empower House is proud to help raise thousands of dollars for charity over the past few years, & will continue to support the charities vital work in the future.

BRUNCH CLUB – COMMUNITY & CONNECTION

The Brunch Club is the ultimate brunch event for people in business – think TEDx talks over delicious food and drinks. Come and join others just like you in a fabulous casual environment, learn more about the topics you love from guest speakers who are leaders in their field. Have a cheeky beverage, plenty of laughs and win prizes over our favourite meal of the day – brunch!

 

I decided to start my own event after visiting many other networking events & finding they left me with nothing but a handful of business cards & a bad taste in my mouth. In July 2018, I began running The Brunch Club events on the Gold Coast. We welcome a new guest presenter each month, enjoy a meal together & make genuine connections in a relaxed & inclusive environment. The Brunch Club events are a place where business cards & sales pitches are a no-go; I wanted to create a space for business people to learn something new, create new relationships & come together as a community. The events also give the presenters a platform on which to share their story, their wisdom, be seen & heard by a greater audience.

 

The Brunch Club events are well established on the Gold Coast, & are now headed along the East Coast of Australia. We visited Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast in August 2022 & have plans to pop up in Sydney & Melbourne soon. I am proud to say my events have raised money for charities such as Beyond Blue, Act for Kids, YoungCare, Beddown, Echo International & local women’s refuges, Ozcare & The Sanctuary.

Business Club is for small business owners who are passionate about what they do & want to learn how to have their best business ever. This course will suit:

 

The business beginner: You want to start a business but aren’t sure how.

The business owner: You’re already in business, are great at what you do, & want to learn how to grow.

The business pro: You’ve been around for a while but know you could be doing things more efficiently & effectively, you are feeling overwhelmed, need more structure, want simple actionable lessons you can actually use.

With Business Club you can learn how to start, run, and grow your business in easily-to-digest lessons, track your progress and be held accountable, receive online support, and join a supportive online business community. Business Club has been designed to fit in with your life:

 

  • Each lesson topic has its own video (3-10 mins max) and text format,
  • Some with templates, spreadsheets, workbooks and downloadable tools.
  • My intention is to give you 60 – 90 minutes of time to learn and work on your business each week.
  • There are 33 lessons, including 2 bonus lessons, divided over 6 modules.
  • The content is set out in weeks but this is purely my suggestion.
  • This is self-paced learning so you can choose the speed, frequency, and content you want to take on first.
