When she is not reading or writing stories, she’s working with Australian small businesses helping them tell their stories through media coverage and business awards.\nBut what you may not know from looking at Annette from the outside is when she started her business 10 years ago her inner voice used to beat her up, telling her she wasn’t good enough, others were better than her and that people would find out she sucked at what she did. Feeling like a fraud stuck to her like the smell of an apple left too long in a bag. For the first four years of her business she was plagued by comparisonitis and imposter syndrome. But she knew, as a PR specialist, not putting herself out there was not only hurting her business but denying people access to her specialised skills.
